on Philippine pop music in one exhilarating sweep!Meet XLR8, composed of eight appealing teenage guys – KIKO, AKI, CALEB, twins MM and MJ, ARKIN, AJ and CARLO - who can all sing and dance exceptionally. Together, they form a group that is sure to be the next big thing in the local and eventually, international music scene.
The group’s name is derived from the word ACCELERATE which means to move or go faster, to progress or develop faster. That is exactly what the group is all about. With their innate talent and undeniable charisma, in no time XLR8 will surely be speeding up the race of our country’s music towards greater horizons!

XLR8’s self-titled debut album is released under P-POP, a new music label under Viva Music Group. The dominant sound of this label is young, fresh, modern, and upbeat, very much in tune with the current Asian music trend. The album features twelve cuts, including the upbeat and contagious carrier single “You’re So Hot”. The single is currently being played massively in the airwaves and its music video has already captured the viewers’ fascination via various music channels".

Aside from “You’re So Hot”, there are a lot more attention-worthy songs such as “I Love You Girl” “Ms. Beautiful” and “Dance With Me”, "all composed by one of the members of XLR8, MJ.".. Also in the album are several to-swoon-for ballads which showcase the guys’ strong vocals such as “For You” and “I’ll Be There”.
